Changes in Chamblee Chamber of Commerce Leadership
Chamblee, GA, December 22, 2014 – There are a couple of leadership changes taking place at the Chamblee Chamber of Commerce.
Founding CEO, Art Freeman and Founding President and Chairman of the Board, Van Pappas both announced Thursday during the December Chamber Breakfast, that they will be leaving the Chamber in their official capacity.
Freeman was instrumental in the organizations formation as he provided the procedural and executional expertise necessary to bring a Chamber of Commerce to a more than one-hundred-year-old city that never had one.
Chamblee did have the Chamblee Business Association (CBA), formerly the Chamblee Area Business and Professional Coalition, but in order to have a stronger position on behalf of Chamblee businesses in the areas of Governmental Affairs, Economic Development and Advocacy, the decision was made by the CBA to form a Chamber.
